1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aurum at playaurum.io (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Aurum is operated as an entertainment gaming platform. You are responsible for determining whether use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction before participating.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Aurum. By accessing the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you are not located in a jurisdiction where the Platform's services are prohibited. Aurum reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
3. AU Virtual Currency
Aurum operates using AU, a proprietary virtual gaming currency used exclusively for entertainment purposes on the Aurum platform. AU functions similarly to in-game currencies used by major gaming platforms (such as V-Bucks, Robux, or casino chips) — it is a medium of exchange within the platform ecosystem, not a financial instrument or investment vehicle. AU is not legal tender, is not a cryptocurrency, and has no intrinsic monetary value outside the Aurum platform. Players purchase AU using SOL (Solana) at a stated exchange rate of 1 SOL = 1 AU. AU may be redeemed back to SOL through Aurum's official cashout feature at Aurum's sole discretion, subject to processing times, minimum amounts, applicable fees, and eligibility requirements. Aurum's cashout feature is a discretionary redemption service — it is not a guaranteed financial right or withdrawal mechanism. Aurum reserves the right to modify the AU exchange rate, suspend redemptions, or discontinue the cashout feature at any time with reasonable notice. Purchasing AU does not constitute an investment, does not guarantee any return, and does not represent ownership of any asset. All AU balances are non-transferable between accounts and have no value upon account termination except as stated in these Terms.
3a. Jurisdiction, Legal Compliance, and Restricted Regions
Aurum is an entertainment gaming platform operating under a virtual currency model. The legal status of virtual currency gaming platforms varies by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of Aurum is lawful in your jurisdiction before accessing the platform. Aurum does not knowingly accept players from the United States of America or any jurisdiction where virtual currency gaming or online gaming is explicitly prohibited by law. By accessing Aurum, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are not located in, a citizen of, or resident of the United States of America or any other restricted jurisdiction; (b) you are not accessing Aurum through a VPN or other means to circumvent geographic restrictions; (c) your use of Aurum is lawful under all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Restricted jurisdictions include but are not limited to: the United States of America, France, the Netherlands, and any other jurisdiction where the operation or use of virtual currency gaming platforms is prohibited. Aurum reserves the right to restrict access from any jurisdiction at any time. Players found to be accessing from restricted jurisdictions will have their accounts suspended and remaining AU balances returned at Aurum's discretion.
4. Deposits and Redemptions
All SOL transactions are conducted on the Solana blockchain. Deposits are credited to your AU balance upon blockchain confirmation. AU redemption requests (cashouts) are processed within 24 hours under normal operating conditions. Minimum and maximum transaction amounts apply and are displayed within the Platform. Aurum is not responsible for delays caused by blockchain network congestion, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances outside our control. Aurum reserves the right to delay or decline redemptions where fraud, money laundering, or policy violations are suspected.
5. Gaming Rules and Provably Fair System
All games on Aurum use a provably fair system. Outcomes are determined by a cryptographic combination of a server seed (committed before play) and a client seed (provided by the player). After each game, the server seed is revealed so players can independently verify that outcomes were not manipulated. The house edge for each game is disclosed on the Provably Fair page. Aurum reserves the right to void any game session where a technical error, exploit, or system manipulation is detected. AU won through exploits will not be paid out and accounts may be suspended. The house edge on all Aurum games ranges from 1% to 10% depending on the game and settings configured at the time of play. The current house edge for each game is accessible through the Admin-disclosed game settings and the Provably Fair verification page. By playing any game on Aurum, you acknowledge and accept the existence of the house edge and understand that over time the platform retains a mathematical advantage on all wagers.
6. Account Registration and Security
You may register using a Solana wallet or email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify Aurum immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. You may only hold one account per person. Duplicate accounts are prohibited and may result in forfeiture of all balances and permanent suspension. Aurum reserves the right to verify identity and request documentation at any time.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform; (b) exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or system errors; (c) engage in money laundering, fraud, or any illegal financial activity using the Platform; (d) collude with other players to manipulate game outcomes; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with Platform systems; (f) create multiple accounts to abuse bonuses, promotions, or referral programs; (g) use the Platform if you are a resident of a jurisdiction where such activity is prohibited; (h) allow minors to access your account. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of AU balances.
8. Responsible Gaming
Aurum is committed to promoting responsible gaming. We provide Practice Mode on all games, allowing play without real AU. If you believe gaming is negatively affecting your life, please contact support to request account suspension or permanent closure. We will return any remaining AU balance as SOL upon account closure request. Aurum reserves the right to impose deposit limits, cooling-off periods, or permanent exclusions where problem gaming behavior is identified. For support resources, visit our Responsible Gaming page.
9. Affiliate Program
Approved affiliates earn commission on referred players' activity. Commission rates are agreed at approval and may be adjusted with 30 days' written notice. Affiliates must not use false or misleading advertising, target minors, violate applicable laws, or misrepresent the nature of the Platform. Affiliate commissions are paid in AU. Aurum reserves the right to withhold commissions where fraud or policy violations are suspected and to terminate affiliate agreements for cause without notice.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, trademarks, game logic, and technology on Aurum are the property of Aurum and its licensors. "Aurum," "AU," "The Gold Standard of Gaming," and the AU periodic table mark are proprietary brand assets. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Aurum does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AU is a virtual currency for entertainment purposes. Purchasing AU does not guarantee any financial return. Past game outcomes do not predict future results. Gaming involves risk — never use funds you cannot afford to lose.
11a. Virtual Currency and Entertainment Disclaimer
AU is a virtual gaming currency created solely for entertainment purposes on the Aurum platform. The purchase of AU is the purchase of a digital entertainment service — not a financial transaction, investment, or speculative instrument. While AU may be redeemed back to SOL through Aurum's cashout feature, this redemption is a discretionary platform service and does not constitute a guarantee of financial return or profit. The availability of cashout does not make AU a financial product, security, or regulated monetary instrument under applicable law. Players acknowledge that all games on Aurum involve chance, that the platform has a mathematical house edge on all games, and that the expected long-term outcome of gaming activity is a net loss of AU. Aurum is designed and intended as an entertainment service. Players should only purchase AU with funds allocated for entertainment purposes that they are fully prepared to lose. Past results in any Aurum game do not predict or guarantee future outcomes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurum and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of AU, loss of data, or loss of profits. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the equivalent SOL value of AU held in your account at the time of the claim.
13. Amendments
Aurum reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent Platform notification with at least 7 days' notice where reasonably practicable.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights where applicable.
15. Contact and Dispute Resolution
For questions about these Terms, account issues, billing disputes, or to request account closure, contact us at support@playaurum.io. We aim to respond within 48 hours. For billing disputes specifically, please include your account email or wallet address, the date of the transaction in question, and the amount disputed. Aurum will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 14 business days of receiving complete dispute information. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration as described in Section 14.
